Dr. Cottrell

is a public servant with a background in higher education and student affairs who has proudly served our nation’s students and institutions of higher education for 25 years. After over nine years serving the public at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Postsecondary Education, he is now exploring new ways to tell the story of American higher education through professional opportunities, service, and research. His goal is to continue working in the higher education field to support student access and success initiatives.
